      • A surprise that derailed plans.
      • Something so absurd it was funny.

    • Objective:
To find actionable learnings and symbolically release the past problems.
    • Activity:

      • Extract Learnings: For each theme, discuss: “What is one thing we can learn from this?”
      • Capture the Learning: Write each key learning on a new, different-colored sticky note.
      • “Burn” the Past: Once a learning is captured, ceremoniously crumple or rip up the original problem notes from that theme and throw them into the “The Past” box.
  • Phase 4: The “Resilience Reset” (5 minutes)

    • Objective:
To end the session on a positive and forward-looking note.
    • Activity:
      • Go around the room.
      • Each person completes one of these sentences aloud:
        • “One thing I’m proud of from that project is…”
        • “One thing I’m excited about for the next project is…”
    • Objective:
To gather the team and establish the positive, blameless rules of the session.
