Letting Go

Release the past. Breathe into the now.

Letting Go

Objective

To help users release agitation, resentment, or lingering emotional tension and return to a state of inner balance.

Problem Statement

Agitation often comes from holding on to negative emotions, past events, or unresolved thoughts that cloud the present moment.

Solution Provided

Letting Go is a guided meditation and breathwork practice that helps users acknowledge what they’re holding onto, release it with intention, and return to the present with greater clarity and calm.

The Science

Mindfulness-based practices that involve emotional labeling, acceptance, and focused breathwork have been shown to reduce emotional reactivity and activate areas of the brain involved in emotional regulation (like the prefrontal cortex). Letting go is a cognitive reappraisal strategy linked with improved mood and decreased physiological arousal.

Time Commitment

7–10 minutes.
